Just a few of my favorite sites - all well worth checking out:
The Original Strips on the LJ
self-explanatory.
Penny Arcade
the best goddamn comic online. no exceptions.
Ctrl-Alt-Del
a very funny, accessible gaming comic.
Questionable Content
a comic ostensibly about indie lifestyle that is actually about people's relationships. it's infinitely more engrossing than i make it sound.
Dr. McNinja
the name, loaded with information as it may be, does not actually say it all about this comic. there are also mustaches, dinosaurs, gorillas, and a host of other goodies in there as well.
Three Panel Soul
the art alone would make this comic worth reading, but it's also funny to boot.
Plum and Leather
an art-blog by my younger, but infinitely more talented, sister; contains some examples of things she's working on, doodles, comic covers, and more. check it out, she's really good.
Theory Schmucks
a private blog site hosted by my good friends, gordon and ghengis, in which two extraordinarily smart and eloquent men tell you things about politics, pop culture, and other worldly topics.
Pandora Radio
product of the Music Genome Project: an online radio station that can be tailored to the needs of the listener.
FreeRice
a trivia game site through which one may donate anywhere from 10 grains of rice, to a METRIC FUCKTONNE of rice.
KIVA
a website for managing personal microloans - if you don't know about microloans, check out this site. it's the next big thing in international aide, and a GREAT way to philanthrophize!
GoodReads
for all you bookish types out there - a site dedicated to sharing titles, authors, recommendations and reviews.
